5 Steps to Team Synchronization and Collaboration

We have all heard the expression, "There is not I in TEAM". The truth of this statement is evident in successful teams around the world. Whether you are managing a team at work or playing on a sports team, you will know when your team is totally synchronized and working in perfect collaboration when the following attributes are present: positive attitudes, smiles, creativity and innovation with new fresh ideas, increased focus and productivity, open and honest communication, enhanced performance, and commitment to help the team win.

Here are five steps that will help you achieve perfect team synchronization and collaboration:

1. Plan, take time to plan with your team.

2. Strategize, build strategy with your team and listen to their ideas.

3. Recognize individual team strengths, align your strategy and team resources to play to their strengths.

4. Support the team, help them succeed by working along side of them

5. Celebrate every win, I call this the 10 second celebration.

The following video shows a team that is perfectly synchronized and working in perfect collaboration. This is the end result of the five steps.

This group is called The League of Extraordinary Dancers. They showcased their perfect team synchronization and collaboration on the dance competition show, "So You Think You Can Dance". It is very inspiring to watch the level of synchronization and high-level performance.
